This is the portfolio of Mitch Druery (game designer, problem solver, and immersion enthusiast). Here you can view my resume, my completed capstone project, and snapshots from a project that is currently in progress. As a recent graduate from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Video Game Design, I have experience working with Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5, and game development using Jira, Confluence, and an agile workflow.

CAPSTONE PROJECT
Graveyard Vanguard (Unreal Engine 5, Blueprints)
Graveyard Vanguard, is a third person isometric shoot 'em up about a soldier completing objectives while fighting off zombie hordes. The soldier wields an arsenal of weapons and orbital firepower.
This game was the Capstone Project for my game design degree from Full Sail University. As a project lead and technical designer, I worked on many aspects of this project.
My contributions include:
- The creation of game documentation in Confluence
- Managed workflows through Jira dashboards
- Scripted the weapon and damage systems, console and air strike mini-game mechanics, and various enemy combat mechanics
- Collaborated with artists to create models, animations, and texture materials from the block out stage to finalized art.
- Prioritized deadlines and maintained responsive communication channels in order to reach the team's vision of the game and to ensure that we stayed within the scope of the project

CURRENT PROJECT
SANGUINE STEEL (Unreal Engine 5, Blueprints, C++)
Sanguine Steel is a first person action and puzzle platform about a girl who made a pact with a demon sword to exact vengeance on the corrupt Don who killed her family.
This game is being developed by myself along with fellow graduates from both the Game Design Program and the 3D Art Program at Full Sail University. My role in this project is Creative Director and a Technical Designer. Production has begun on this game and has a planned launch date of late 2025. Once completed we plan to release this game on Steam.
